Don’t make web design mistakes

When it comes to web design there are so many new technologies coming out sometimes web designers go over the board and show off too much of what they can do. This is not always necessary. Even though fancy sites may be an interest in themselves but most of the time we have no time or patience to sit through beautiful welcoming pages, wait for multiple media files to load or have to click incessantly to stop the live conversation we are invited to.

We come for information most of the time and information is good when its timely, concise, up to the point and engaging. The site should contain updated resources and texts with relevant dates and state clearly when it was last updated. Flashing and blinking text, numerous pop-up windows and invitations are all bad taste. Forcing software down your users’ throat may also scare them away. Do you really think people will want to download your sponsor’s products just to check out what your company is about? Make your content is honestly presented and eloquently stated, with no grammar or spelling mistakes. Have moderators and proofreaders check everything before you go live. A single error can spoil the first impression beyond repair. So keep it simple and save the tricks for your own blog on web design.
